Geometry Dash Vs 140
Hello guys and guys one again, it has been a very busy week but luckily I got enough time to play a few games and today I will be comparing two of the games which according to me were amazing in every aspect, Geometry Dash and 140, so without any further dues lets get comparing.
GENERAL INFORMATION
140 a very unique platform game developed by Jeppe Carlsen, released in October 16, 2013 for PC generally and available on Steam for purchase. The game is amazingly designed for players who enjoy challenges and like to trust their senses to anticipate the their moves in games. In terms of level design and mechanics it is one the best simple platform games I played.
Geometry dash a fun to play arcade-platform game develpoed by RobTop Games, released in March 25, 2014 for smartphones and available in Play Store and Apple Store for download for free. The game is pretty fun to play and can be very addictive because of its fun and fast gameplay.
GAMEPLAY
In terms of gameplay 140 is very unique and although the player does not have much controls as the player can only move left, right and jump, the player also needs to anticipate the level to change randomly according to the music being played in the back ground. The player cannot predict how the level will change but he can easily predict when the level will change due to the beats of the music and rhythm.
As for Geometry Dash the player only one control and yet its fun to play. The player can only jump over obstacles and during sometimes during the levels the player is given control of a spaceship like object which he has to fly around avoiding objects and move forward. The gameplay is very fast and the players has to react fast in order to jump.
GRAPHICS
As the name suggests the game, Geometry Dash is full geometrical shapes and objects, but there is a neon effect everywhere to give it a futuristic look. The animations and effects are pretty smooth and looks good.
140,starts with a black and white theme, but as the player reaches his first checkpoint the background, the obstacles and the level itself changes according to the music with colorful patterns that are enough to distract and help the players at the same time.
UNLOCKABLES
In Geometry Dash, the player can unlock various predefined shapes and spaceships to play with, the player can unlock them through various methods like clearing a specific level, completing objectives, or purchasing the full version of the game.
140 is a simple game with no unlockables.
CONCLUSION
Both games are good in their fields but 140 has something new and unique to offer than Geometry dash, though Geometry Dash is very addictive to play. So I leave the rest to you guys and gals to try out these amazing games and keep rocking them games 🙂 Until next time.
